Hansens Pricing Calculator has been developed by Nerida Hansen.

Nerida has long been involved in the fashion and textiles industries, both as an art buyer for big box retail and her eponymous fabrics label, Nerida Hansen Fabrics, and as an art agent representing creatives from all corners of the globe.

Nerida has exhibited at the world’s biggest surface art shows including Surtex, New York, Premier Vision Paris and Heimtextil in Frankfurt. and licensed hundreds of patterns to leading international retailers.

Her experience on both sides of the art licensing industry has allowed her to develop a unique perspective and to question the best way to value art that is fair to both buyers and creators.

The result of many years of first-hand research and personal experience, Hansens Pricing Calculator aims to take the mystery out of pricing art for everyone involved.

Nerida’s mission is to remove the guess work from the negotiating table. Hansens Pricing Calculator will empower artists to price their work for the commercial market, whilst also providing a useful reference point for buyers to negotiate a fair value using a defined set of parameters in a specific product category.

Nerida is also the brains behind the new Patternfield App which is set to shake up the surface pattern design and art licensing industry. Patternfield App is the new way for art buyers and artists to connect on a global scale.
